Greetings to you as well sistren.
I feel no commonality with Muslim wombmen, or any other religious wombmen, in the respect that they have their rights of protection to practise their religious beliefs, and not have their job threatened, or their children denied entrance to a school.
I have seen Rastafarian wombmen home school their children, rather than comprmise with school systems and cut their young lions hair.
What many people do not know, is that a Muslim wombman can wear a hair covering, and she is protected by law. According to law, nobody can ask her to remove her head covering. But a Rasta sistren can have hear head wear removed.
Now as far as my comment about hijackers. Yes I do feel as if Muslim women go way too far in their dress. In many instances, their interpretation of the scriptures is an exageration of what God was asking the woman to do in the first place. The Arab took what God asked of us, and took it to the extreme, as he do many things. Once again that is more corruption of holy text by men who want to control and dominate wombmen.
But as a sister, I can not tell you whom you should and should not identitfy with. You must follow your own path.
Jah Bless you sistren
