We as black cowboys do not re-write history to best suit the mind of the reader. White people re-write history. We as black cowboys report our story with accuracy.
Whether or not you agree with every move that our ancestors made, make it no less important history. Personally no matter what group of Africans one may find in diaspora, I for one have not found any group of blacks who were perfect. You were not born as a slave, so it would seem impossible for you to judge our ancestors in such a way.
I knew I would potentialy meet such reaction from this type of a forum. However I still put the information out there, and I will continue to put information across the internet, about the blacks who were in the wild wild west.
Take care (tips hat)
