One of the most wicked slave masters name was Grignon so he decided that hec would lead the slave masters side of the revolt, but the self
determination of Sam Sharpe and his people soon enough chased Grignon and his gangsters into the sea, along with those Europeans who were already chased into the Sea. Grignon then secure himself safely in the harbour and then send a group of colored troops which must have been the Maroons, to resist Sam Sharpe and his people, but Sam Sharpe's Army, with drew and observed them from a distant and when they were confused and did not know what to do, Sam Sharpe and his people attacked them by surprise, Eurpeaons as well as black traitors were running from Sam Sharpe and his people, and seeked refuge in the Sea. So, those so called Maroons did not prevail in this battle although they tried they ended up into the Sea with the others trembling with fear.
As usual European always use their lies to trick our people. The Governor at that time declared a State of Emergency which was called martial law after more than a million pounds of plantation property was burned to the ground. Well, because there was much talk about slavery being abolished in England, but the slave masters in Jamaica were still keeping our people in slavery, the Governor declared that he would give pardon to those slaves who surrender, and that it was true that slavery was abolished in England so the soldiers would not arm them if they surrender, which was one of the biggest lies which were ever told on the face of this earth.
It was indeed a great mistakes to trust those Europeans but our people trusted them and surrendered, Only fourteen slave masters and three mulatoes were killed in the uprising, but thousands of African people were put to death by firing squads and by a gallows which was erected in the Montego Bay sqaure. Those who were not killed suffered from the whipping of 500 or 300 lashhes from their brutish whip. As a result of the Sam Sharpe Rebel-lion, slavery was abolished as they claimed in England on August 1st 1834.
Indeed we know that slavery was not abolished but was only polished, for if slavery was abolshed, we would not still be living in these westrern Hemispere suffering under their daily downpression. It has been said that the Sam Sharpe Rebel-lion was the largest to have taken place in the Island of Jamaica, but it was too well organized for those so called Maroons to exhibit their brutality against their own African people successfuly, they were chased away into the Sea, thanks to Sam Sharpe and his African liberstors. Take the best care of yourselves and your people.
again we say Maroons No No No.
Coromantees Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes.
Again we send many oceans of blessings to and self
determination African people everywhere.
ONE BLACK HEART ONE BLACK LOVE.
