i would really like to know how much of islamic fundamentalist violence is really an indigenous pursuit or something that has been and is stoked by western interventionism. i find it interesting that one of the architects(brzezinski) of setting up and funding islamic militant organizations has had been an obama foreign policy adviser. we know that these think tank types are birds of a feather - wolfowitz and brzezinski have been colleagues in the past - both muse on maintaining an empire but with different approaches.

brzezinski and obama can of course play the roll of "good cop" now - like a pendulum swinging but still from the same center.

israel as well was a western creation - with its leaders composed of european descended jews instilled with notions of european supremacy.

for whatever the semitic people in the middle east were prior to this interventionism, i don't know how we can blame them entirely for this back and forth cycle of violence. the west should place much of the blame on itself for intervention and setting up and manipulating events to suit itself when the "wag the dog" scenario starts.
