Title: Lets talk clothes…
Post by: Ayinde on August 11, 2004, 09:15:11 AM
Some people just go to a store, pick clothes, and they are cool with that. They say it comes from Macy's; the labels are hidden inside the clothing.

But many shift to becoming ‘Clothes Conscious’.

They don’t just say or accept the clothes came from Macy's;
they look deeper into the history.
They are particular about the Maker.
They know if it is made of polyester, cotton or silk.
They know if it is manmade or natural.

They want all to know it is Gucci or FuBu;
no one can just tell them it came from any old store.
They proudly defend the ‘source’-the maker.
They proudly wear the label on the outside.
They learn how to wash and otherwise take care of the clothes.
They move different in them.
They walk with their heads high.
They are proud to identify with it.
They will never accept less.
They will treat those clothes better.

What if people did the same with people?

-I like cotton and wool. It's natural and soft.
-The same way I like natural people, honust people and true people.

-I never use polyester and fake materials, they make my sensitive skin itch.
-I don't like fake people, they make my inside itch and burn.

-When it comes to what I wear, I wear what looks good on my body, if it's Prada, Macy's or one of my selfmade outfits.
-I surround myself with people that are real, and people that suits me and my values in life. My friends.

Bless..
