Title: Down low
Post by: preach on September 12, 2004, 04:51:48 PM
I just read the September 2 issue of Rolling Out mag/paper with J.L. King, author of On the Down Low: A Journey Into the Lives of " Straight " Black Men Who Sleep With Men, on the cover. I wonder if there is a growing phenomenon of women who are in a heterosexual relationship that sleep with other women but consider themselves to be neither bi or lesbian?

Greetings,
Welll, from what I know about the subject, the answer is no not really.  Women seem to be more open with their sexuality towards other women because it is so widely accepted by men.  What can I say, most women seem to do whatever it takes to please a man, or continue to define their physical, mental, and spiritual being by men's likes and dislikes.
Sadly, even a lot of Rases that I know ( males) seem to find two women laying together as being a turn on, so if the spiritual are induldging in it, that gives women even more leeway and freedom to do it openly.
Interesting question though
Misgana!
