The child's plea

I am a child.
Yes! the child you ones were.
I need a guard, you!
A guard for me alone
You had that guard
Yes! a guard for you alone

I walk through the dark
With you as my light
You as my hope, my future
My future is you
My future is with you
My future will be you

My plea are many
My demands are many
I plea Oh! mother
To give me your best
I plea oh! father
To give me the best

You brought me here
You will take me there
My dreams are clear
My future is bright
All I seek is you!
To make me who I'll be

I am a child
I seek life, give me life!
I am precious, mother!
I need care
I am valueable, Father!
I need love

I am your future
With me your are safe
When age wins its race

No need to thank me
No need to appreciate
The love I recieved,
will always make me treat you great.
