Rastafari Speaks

Re: The First Rastafari?
In Response To: Re: The First Rastafari? ()

I agree it should be. But I thought Rastafari was manifested in 3 faces. Was this not what the Bobo preach and teach? If so, then we have to take all the words of Rastafari, and incorporate the teachings of Garvey and Emmanuel. But like yo said, not all people have the same interpretation, and faith is personal.

You see this is the probelm when a people are leaderless.

The closest the Rastafarians ever came to having a leader was Howell. That is why you never hear today's Rastas speak of Howell, because they see him as an embarrasment.

How can any sane thinker who is black, see his ancestors as an embarrasment?

Personally I am smart enough to see where some may find a contradiction in philosophy of the two thinkers (Howell & Selassie I). However the same could be sighted of Muhameed and Allah.

Personally I like Howell's teachings, because what he say is true. If one is to follow Rastafari, then I would advice the person to pray to Jah on the matters concerning Haile I, and the interpretation of his meanings.

I say that, because there is no way that God will return back to earth, and tell the black man, let bigons be bigons, after considering all the raping and killing that white men did to our women, and children, as well as our black men! But when I expalined the 3 faces of Jah, it should better answer this. One was a monarch, the other was a liberator of blacks, and the other was the priest for blacks. Jah has many faces. In Revelations it says that Jah has 7 spirits. Another topic for another time.

Most people who spit fire like me would not follow Haile I. However I know that he is the return of Yeshua/God. Therefore instead of calling Jah foolish, I pray for the wisdom and understanding of deeper meanings of the livity. That is why Jah gave me the interpretation of his three faces. Now I am not Bobo, but I thank Jah for the answer.

I only have one King Selassie I

That is why no other earth king is on my wall. I only have a banner of Selassie I. He is the only king I bow to.
