Title: I was born in Corrupted System
Post by: Poetic_Princess on March 01, 2004, 06:41:02 AM
Not a full form poem but an open one of my thoughts on this system I was born in.

I was born in a corrupted system
That doesn't give a damn about me or you
Or our young youths
It only cares for it money payers and
Self greedy political stars
A corrupted system that is base on race
If your white your innocent until proven guilty
But once your black you’re guilty from the start without any evidence
Our colour gives the mark
A corrupted system which goes to war for no reason
Dragging along our soldiers to a war that wasn't even theirs
But a war which was about a son proving his worth to his daddy dearest
Just wanting to be the big and bad bully to take over other people regime's
A self corrupted system that parts of it still sees Driving while Black a crime
But yet it says freedom for all
A Babylon system that regards
Men living together and married as no crime
A Gay priest standing in a pulpit preaching
Priest interfering with little boys all that seen as alright in the eyes
Of this corrupted system I was born in
A system that is totally backwards blinded by it own greed and fears
Pushing it nose into everyone’s business trying to take over as much as it can hold
A system ran by a Downpressor  where ignorance and timidity has enslave his mind
A system that praises they so called scientists cause they cloned a sheep, a cat and a human cause it aint an abomination to them they see it as a redemption about things unknown.
I was born in Corrupted System
And if it is so corrupted now
Imagine what it would be like for the generation after me.

Our colour gives the mark...
I was born in Corrupted System
And if it is so corrupted now
Imagine what it would be like for the generation after me.
