Bless up!

I man was just reading some reasonings on the Rastafari Speaks message board. It seems to me that people have become consumed with the idea that Rasta is only black. Well I as a white man will defend to the death that no white man can identify with a black man suffering in this trodding. But some of these "rasta" need fi check dem Bible. It tell InI "For Jah so love the the WORLD, He gave His only begotton Son, that WHOSOEVER believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) So it say Jah love the world and that whoever BELIEVES in Him shall have life. Not all black men who believe, not China or Europe but whoever so believe.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bobo Negus:
So the whites don't understand the black man struggle so we no Ras. So does blackman or any man know what its like to die for the man sins? Do they understand the true theology of God and HIM perfect mind? NO. So if they can't overstand how HIM feel why should He accept them? So wether or not I know what its like to be black means just as much if blacks know what its like to be JAH. Either way no man is worthy. It is through Gods UNDENYABLE GRACE THAT WE FIND FAITH IN HIM, not through color or polotics. Enough blackman go through this world without feeling the burdens of Blackman. Hence the term NYABINGHI- Death to BLACK AND WHITE downpressers.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bobo Negus:
"Come unto me ALL ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:30) So Jah wants us to believe in Him and love Him and love others as we love ourselves. Matthew 15:19-20 "For out of the heart proceed thoughts, murders, adultries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blastphomies. These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashed hands defileth not a man." So as I man look to the word of Jesus of Nazareth Selassie I Jah Rastafari I man get fi find out Jah no mention the color of a mans skin but the condition of his heart. I have not come to blame anyone on this site but to make those who are a stubbling block to others watch their step. Put down your hollow philosophy and pick up your Bible. Not White Supreme, not black supreme, only the Most High God Selah Selassie I Jah Rastafari is Supreme.

Great Heart of Love and Blessing to all preists who have come to spread Jah love and HIM words of truths and rights. Bless

In the spiritual realms Rasta is as mentioned a condition of the heart. But to deal effectively with the reality conditions of white supremacy, things of reality importance have to be dealt with - and this means each man/woman in the trod has a duty to fulfill - and each man/woman's duty is different in relation to where I and I stand in the struggle. I would not like a drill to hammer a nail - seen? Likewise - square peg does not go in circular hole.

Let the Eurpoeans and others do over their MASS mistakes and their ERRORS that they have created,THEN and ONLY THEN can one talk about one luv.how can one forget about the slavery that ur(anyone thats of caucasian descent on this board)anscestors did?the Modern Elders of Ra-sta would tell u that Ra-sta is not only a Spiritual trod for ones to find their True self.but a MOVEMENT for the Black wonbman and child in this Diaspora.ones can quote the ible if they want,BUT REMEMBER,some Rases use their Incient Minds before anything written.......ONE BLACK LOVE(MELANIN IS THE KEY TO LIFE)!

Blessed, our Prophet Marcus Mosiah Garvey who is equilly God as Selassie I says, RACE FIRST, that dosn't mean your race only, but your race first, like you first before anyone else, don't fool yourself nor pollute anyone else with your misunderstanding about race, remember "Race First". Blessed Love

Greetings and blessings to all. It is true that many whites have come to rasta with no knowledge of the royal bloodline or the glory of the possibility of a black God. This steals away much glory from the blackman. Rasta; however, was not made for one type of man. True the foundations were laid in the hearts of African sons and daughters, but the message is a universal one. Jah belongs to no man, and no man can keep the glory of Jah from another and call himself righteous. Let us remember that Bob Marley was the son of a white man. It was no mistake that Jah send Bob,as a son of two races, to spread Jah's message to the world. This being said, proper glory is due to the black man from the white man. This is best done by gaining knowledge of Africas glory, and not through physical reperation. Grace be with us all. Morelove.

I agree, but I do not think anyone on this board is trying to keep the spiritual trod of Rasta as off limit to non-Black people. Rasta is from creation - it is a way known to original man - and the peace and dignity of knowing thyself can be had by anyone, regardless of race if one works at it.

It is a matter of the movement toward African liberation which is at issue when one say that people who are non-Black do not have the unique perspective necessary to build up Africa in the interest of ones who it was stolen from. I tell you what - I would rather have someone experienced at something to diagnose and correct a problem than one who is merely observing and not experienced something first hand.

More love and guidance.  Bless bredren.

Seen. Lately I have been wondering why there is no true roots movement here in America, by this I mean a bush movement. I think it is time for white rasta to root down here in America, rather than look abroad to the homes of our African brothers. I also see the possible folly in this as Rasta should not build his home in Babylon. It seems to me that the white rastaman is truly in the wilderness, as I are rejected by many of our African brothers, and surely find no peace here among the heathens.

not to take away the Raspect of Bob,but, eventhough he was half white,i REAL-EYEZ that his message was mainly about a REVOLUTION,REPATRIATION & DIS-OWNING the knowledge of the European man.the ONLY way there will be ONE LOVE is if the ERRORS are CORRECTED.Bless up

Greetings.

I think the I may be onto something with what you call a "bush movement" in America. I also think that if white people who claim Rasta recognized their resources, connections, and collective white privilege together, we could probably do a lot of good here in America. If there is change in America, then this automatically benefit our brothers and sisters from and in Africa. We can set examples for others in America of how to live more simply and within a framework that decreases the dependency on the resource hungry Babylon economic model which exists in a large portion because of the DEMAND of people within America for such way of living.

I think we can make individual change simply by trying to rely less and less on all the dependencies that Babylon makes us feel are necessary. We could start growing our own food - riding our bikes, walking more, taking public transit, buying only what we really need. Decrease consumption. If we have the opportunity to have an influence on where we live - we can look into alternative energy sources - solar and wind.

At the same time we should be educating ourselves - every spare moment we have - as Marcus Garvey suggests, we should be reading and educating ourselves as much as possible. African studies are important, learning about the  black perspective is important - we can learn how we can best contribute to the cause of African liberation by liberating ourselves from patterns which are ingrained in us. Learn what our common grounds are, and what our differences are and how to work with them.

These are suggestions - I am not saying I live 100% with them, but I am trying and will try harder as time moves on.

Bless bredren.

There is a reason for this - and it is up to us to rectify the history with the reality. If you are working for right and truth, you are working for Rasta, and no one can take that from you. True Rasta will recognize, you will be amazed at what you can pull to you. By your works shall you be known!

It lifts my heart to share thoughts wit you Iyah360. It seems as though more Rastas are concerned with skin color these days and less with the problems facing all mankind. I have been searching for the "real" rasta for years, the bush rasta. Coming to the conclusion that the education I seek cannot be found in America, I turned my eyes to Jamaica. After much meditation on this move, which would mean leaving my son behind, Jah planted the seed in my heart that I should stay here. My plan is to begin a rasta community here in America, a bush community. I have been traveling looking for a sight. I feel it is the duty of the white brethren to establish such a community here in America. It is, perhaps, the only way to give ourselves a valid voice in the greater rasta community and garner us the respect we deserve. I refuse to let babylon chase me from my home! Grace and blessings to you in the name of the most high.

Skin color IS STILL a huge problem facing mankind bredren. We as white people, regardless that we claim Rastafari livity DO have a privilege that ones who do not share our skin tone do not WITHIN the structure of the European dominated world order, ESPECIALLY in America. This is because of historical factors - and the present does not exist outside of the conditions that history has created. Rastafari arose once again in this time partly because of these conditions that the Africans in the diaspora were facing - and it is these same conditions that still face us - this struggle never went away. Aluta Continua.

Perhaps it is the way you have approached this that has not yielded the results you wanted to find?

What is your idea for this community?

What respect are you talking about? Rastafari is not about personal glory - it is about fitting I-selves within the Right accords of creation. A valid voice in Rastafari is speaking within the context of African issues and how ones relate to these taking into account ones historical and present relation to them - not TO Africans about what is in their best interest which masks the subconscious need to have a controlling interest, as this is merely reflecting white arrogance.

I feel it is our duty as "white" brethren to live a life and set an example that can set a precedent for others whose very lifestyle is destroying Africa and the entire world.

I hope the I does not take this as a lecture - I can see how my words may seem that I am speaking down to the I. I do not want you to get that impression however - these are the ways I feel - and I am just as responsible, so these words are for myself as well.

One Blood

Each man is playing his role in this time.. InI need ones to stand firm to the justice of Africa and Her people. I have seen far too many forget history due to self-insecurities. I will say, RastafarI is for any man or wombman to come to through the sighting of Abba Janhoi. Yet "One love" has opened many doors for manipulation and exploitation. It is very attractive to forget the past and put on some red gold and green and dance to some reggae. This is the problem for InI in this time. Instead of coming to the reality of One Love through much inward communication and meditation as well as life insperience, ones can hide behind it.

It was mentioned that Marcus Garvey is equally God as Sellassie I and that he said "your race first." Marcus Garvey being equally God as Sellassie I is for a next reasoning still.. but I will say that for the white man to surrender to The Black King can be one of the sweetest joys to RasTafarI if the heart is righteous and the fruits of the labor are in Africa's name. There has been enough theifing and raping of Africa and her people, now is the time to restore the balance and give to her. So for the white Rasta... the work is for Ethiopia, not Europe.

Blessed Love
