The captivator of my attention overlooking all inequities The prospect of a true love, one I’ve never known A true empress suited to queen my throne The core of remise inspiring deep meditation Overwhelming my thoughts with a sweet permeation A glimmer of hope for a dying heart A talented being a true work of art A gentle persona, a humbling quintessence An incomparable elegance, an unmistakable benevolence Avid in spirit, independence expressed A lady, a queen, a true empress A mirror of Jah in notion, lexis and deeds A vivacious lover boundless fervor exceeds A faithful woman, pure and true Swathed in white definite virtue An unparalleled source of comfort following an arduous day A hand to hold when I don’t know what to say An intellectual presence second to no other A daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother A contented being oblivious of status An astonishing beauty never to be duplicated with paint on any canvas In search of her love I remain relentless A sistren, a blessing, a true empress Michael R.
