Title: How Tarzan was kicked out of Africa and other folklore
Post by: Ntu on February 16, 2006, 08:24:40 AM
I am like the griots of old
That told stories of lore and ancestors,
This is the story of how Tarzan was rooted from Africa,

Cats on the shoulder,
The hunter and the lion-
Sunjata
faced Tarzan by the river,

Bambu Suso, the storyteller was there
Banna Kanute, the storyteller was there
The Chagga storytellers were there
To witness

The hunter and the lion-Sunjata contest Tarzan

Anansi sang a Janjungo- hymn of bravery
For the Jata- lion
The Hare was there
So was the Tortoise,
To witness

The hunter and the lion-Sunjata’s battle with Tarzan

The two sister peaks of Kilmanjero – Kibo and Mawenzi
Were there,
All of Africa’s lore were there
To witness

Sunjata (who was in his mother’s womb for seven years, crept until the moment he wanted to arise, arose like a lion and became a king,)

Cats on his shoulder
The lion and the hunter

Sunjata kicked- (the mother of all kicks) Tarzan out of Africa

Tarzan, the Anglo Saxon who dear claim to be king of lands that already had kings,
Who dear to claim to be a legend in a land that already had legends
Far greater than he could ever be,
Legends and lore that my ears have never heard before,
But have heard now,

That they have kicked Tarzan out of Africa,
