Title: Prayer
Post by: natural blacks on December 07, 2006, 01:28:22 PM
give yanks and ises,
to the most high,
Haile Selassie I, ini give yanks.
give yanks for the words and works manifested,
a life invested...
towards the promotion of a perfect love.
may ini always show love and compassion,
quick to utter a kind word,
slow to anger, avoiding conflict.
may ini arrogance be replaced with tolerance,
humble disposition, cheeful countenance.
may ignorance be swept away by knowledge,
oblivion by awareness and divine consciousness.
may ini be blessed with good health;
health of mind, body and irits.
may i thoughts be upfull,
my speech respectful,
my actions, calculated...
based on a foundation of truth.
may i, out of wise iverstanding,
be forgiving to those that harm i.
may i be blessed with the strength to love my enemies,
may i strengthen my friends.
may ini I-ccurances be in defence of justice...
may I not see the oppressed and turn a blind eye,
hear the afflicted, and hold a deaf ear.
may i promote peaceful resolution to all conflicts,
and manifest in full support of human posterity.

may all, who out of want of happiness,
do evil, be blessed with wise iverstanding.
of them that envy and carelessly offend,
may they be filled with the irits of love.
may the offended be strengthened;
may they be forgiving and understanding.
may those in fear be comforted,
and the selfish in thought be enlightened.
may the ancestors continue to protect,
inspire, and guide our present generations.
may the hands of the youth be blessed,
the works of the I-ncients respected,
the importance of the I-fants never neglected.
may the mothers and fathers of the earth,
be blessed with wisman and iverstanding.
may the leaders of nations have vision;
may they develop a sincere care for their people.
may my wishes of collective benifit be manifested,
and my wants for selfish desires be subdued.
may my prayer be heard within the council of Life,
and my humble wishes fullfilled.
