Post by: Atelemuyen on July 24, 2008, 09:40:25 AM Whether it is a case of meanings being lost in translation or not it is in my opinion an incorrect notion that assumes Ori$a/Orixas to lesser gods; there is no other God besides Olodumare 'The Infinite Ruler of the Heavens'. This to me would suggest that Ori$as are not lesser gods but divine-ministers(divinities and deities) of God; but are to be nevertheless celebrated devoutly.
