Terrorist group Boko Haram is holding them and no one knows when or if they might be returned–although there is some speculation that the girls  release is within reach. But that’s not our concern, we’ve been trying to figure out what Sterling said and how to punish him. Nevermind Sterling’s history of practices that have directly impacted the lives of minorities just getting by, we are concerned about how one man worth billions of dollars is affecting other men worth millions of dollars. If this is not a first world problem, I don’t know what is."

One-Million-Women-March To Be Staged In Abuja For The Release Of Abducted School Girls

Women all over the country will on Wednesday stage a one-million-women protest march in Abuja to press for the release of the girls abducted by suspected Boko Haram gunmen at Government Secondary School, Chibok.

'Abducted Girls Moved Abroad'

Most of the 234 Borno schoolgirls in Boko Haram captivity have been ferried abroad to Chad and Cameroon after they were married off to sect members on N2,000 bride price each, an elder told Daily Trust yesterday.

The female students were taken from their hostels at the Government Girls Secondary School Chibok on the night of April 14.

I find the article "Donald Sterling and the Missing Nigerian Girls" to be quite repugnant. Granted the issue of the missing girls is news-worthy and quite serious, why should people close their eyes to the Donald Sterling debacle? Can’t people ponder on several issues simultaneously? Or is it that the author herself has the devious intention of riding on the popularity of the Sterling controversy to gain popularity for the other? Either way, it is quite disingenuous of the writer to attempt to diminish the significance of the Sterling story to suit her agenda as well-intended as she may think it is.
