Brutal, bash
Brutal, clash
Ten long years of Flaming wars
Whose only victims have been civilians, and their children
Fighting and dying for the precious gemstones we call diamond
In this game of chess the rich Europeans play native rivals as pawns with intent
On gaining control of that gem that is more beautiful then silver and gold
By setting up economic exclusion zones
Which leaves the meadows wide open for a mafia-like variance

For the love of
the riches
Of
a beautiful diamond

Children are dying, lying in the streets
Cold
In rivers of blood
All because of
GREED!!!

The lust of wealth
Let the devil out
And now death rains down
Like torrential storms
On Sierra Leone

Diamond mines align with mines
Rebels align the plains
Looking to regain the riches for their own

Children dying, lying in the streets
Cold
In rivers of blood
All because of
GREED!!!

Children born with eyes of fire
And loaded guns
Destin to burn their enemies like comets making their way to the Sun

Brutal, bash
Brutal, clash
Ten long years of Flaming wars

Cause of love

My pen hits paper and I send my prayers up for the people of Sierra Leone
I refuse to let this struggle hide and go unknown
The world must know what is going on

But nevertheless, the streets of America hoods have become
Little Sierra Leone’s
Our government uses us as pawns
And now our children roam the streets with guns
Instead of mines lined with mines
Our schools are loaded with drugs and guns
And the Devil’s little brother Aids are adopting
Our mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles, sisters, brothers and little boys and girls
So now we have become his son’s and daughters to him and his wife and children illness and infectious diseases.

In this game of war we have become the spoils with no where to run
So we turn on each other and curse each other to death
By means of drugs envy, greed, lust and hatred
We’re lost in the social, finical and economical matrix
Wondering how we gone make it
Wondering how long we can take it
By not doing nothing
To prevent us from drowning in the floods
Of the dragon who lies at our feet
