To remain silent
By  Kateb Nuri Shunnar

To remain silent
Has been the cause
Of
The Poor’s
Suffering
Hunger
Disease
And
Death
Remaining silent
Is the cause education and  the economy have fallen to the waist side .

Silence is why
Police brutally
Immorality
Rape
Abuse
And
Drugs
Or so high .

To remain
Silent

Is to walk away
With the blood
Of the burden bears on your hands .

What so called man and woman of God
Sits
And
Looks
At
Immorality
and only speak of it
at the Church, Synagogue and Mosque
are your words and prayers only strong in four walls?

To be silent
And watch the masses be wronged
Makes us as guilty as the culprit

Woe!
To him
Who remains
Silent
In this day and time
For it’s not longer time to hide in fear
The hour of the most high is here

Woe!
To
You
Who sits
And looks at the masses suffer.

Woe!
To
You
Who cares not
For others
But
Only cares
For themselves
And not the well being of others
Either he be Christian, Jew or Muslim
How would you feel?
If Moses, Jesus and Muhammad
Kept what they had from God and not deliver and stand up for others?
But we claim to followers of men who stood up against injustice, slavery, greed wars
Hunger and poverty
But we sit here
Sit
Here
Remaining in silence
