Soul Quest

At a crossroads
My passage is unmarked
The destination is my decision
A precarious resolution

See my intent
I am heaven sent
Bleeding for the grace
Of humanity’s embrace

Selfless thought
Selfish bought
Trying to give,
More than I’ve got

A mystery to me
To know how to live
Repent and just be
I now have faith in truth

Truth about lying
Truth about dying
Truth about giving
True absolution

Selfless thought
Selfish bought
Trying to give,
More than I’ve got

Mind pollution
Material possession
Greedy concession,
That ended in depression

Live now think fast
Help others cry last
For a broken world
I offer solidarity as a cast

Selfless thought
Selfish bought
Trying to give,
More than I’ve got
