This section got me interested in learning how to write poetry, I will try to follow the rules of poetry but for now I will write like I feel only.

I want all who read this to comment on my attempts to make decent poetry, even if you give it a negative rating  Cheesy

1. War - Wounds of the mind

Afraid I left my home, war for me still unknown.
My youth was my innocence, my youth was my ignorance.
Little did I know, the seeds of evil I would sow

Eternally in my mind the pain remain, peoples life I took in vain,
My youth is now ridden, will my soul ever be forgiven

Now back at my home, I work form dusk to dawn
I sow the seeds of life, and forever regret my sacrifice
War is a beast, from which youth it makes a feast

2. Life - Pride

Raise your head, raise it high. Raise it enough and you can see the sky
Feel your will taking control and know that you alone can save your soul
No reason to feel ashamed, pride is beautiful if it is taimed

Your pride is your stone, with which you begin building a home
Your home will last, to long after your time have passed
Your kin will reap what you sow, and sleep in a house with your prides glow.

Greetings,
Great writing, I think as long as it comes from the soul, you shouldnt have to use some else's standards to judge yourself.

Keep it up
