As a result of the wicked racist Aparthied system of racism in South Africa, Steve Biko and a very rich white man, by the name of Donald Woods, became very good friends. Steve Biko as an African liberator was very distressed about the brutish conditions under which his people were being treated in their own country. So, he and others, organized his people and they started a resistance against the racist policies, which were being practiced against them.
He and his people established a community center in their Village, which was able to offer medical and other social services to his people, on a regular basis. As soon as the racist heard of it, they were pissed off, and started to harrass people in the community especially Steve Biko. They put a band on Steve Biko that he should not travel around the country, and that he should only speak to one person at any time, that means that he should not be reasoning with any group of people. Steve Biko ignored them and their band, because he said, Africa was his country and he will go wherever he feels to go, and speak to his own African people when ever he wants to do so.
Donald Woods was a Lawyer and a News paper Editor, who started to follow Steve Biko around and listened well to what he had to say, and even printed some of his views in his news paper. They took Steve Biko into jail to try to frame him on some trump up charges, but when they were talking to him, he out talked them about the law, and he warned them not to try to hit him, but one of them was bold enough to ignore the warning and throw punch at Steve, but Steve block his punch, and later punched him in the face with all the self determination and courage which he had, the police man staggered into a door, and was too ashamed and shocked to retaliate.
So, Steve got bailed, and they took him to court, but he out talked them with their own laws and won the case, so, now, he is back on the streets, so the police have now planned their revenge. They went to the ccomunity center one night, and destroyed all the equiptments which were used to help to take care of the people on a daily basis, but what they did not know, was that one brethren was there as a watch man, and hid from them while they destroyed the place, and was able to see them all, without them seeing him.
This information was given to Donald Woods the News Paper man and Lawyer, so, he went to speak to the head of the police at his huose, who wanted to know what was the name of the person who saw the invaders, but Woods him told that the persons name would not be released, and that what he should do was to disipline his police men. Well, Donlad Woods left and went back to his home, and in a very short time the police was at his house trying to harrass him, but Woods with his legal words chase them away. At this time, Woods was also writing a book about the wrongs which were being practiced against Steve Biko and his people.
Steve Biko was then invited to a place called Cape Town, to a liberation meeting, he was told not to go there, by his people around him, because it was too dangerious for him, since they have this band on him, But Steve Biko said, he was going, because that was his country, and he will go where ever he wanted to go, and speak with his people when ever he liked to. So, he left for Cape Town, and he was accosted on the way and jailed and beaten to death in jail, never to return again to his Village alive.
They then put a band on Donald Woods, but he was able to escape from South Africa, being dress up as a catholic priest, and landed in England, with his finished book, which was published showing the wickedness of the Aparthied system of government, against African people including the great Steve Biko. Long will Steve Biko be remembered as an Africa liberator from generation to generation.
Take the best care of yourself and your people.
Again I send many oceans of blessings and self determination to African people everywhere.
ONE BLACK HEART ONE BLACK LOVE.
