Race isn't an issue. This is a societal issue that happens all the time across racial, and different income levels. There are so many "victims" who are abused within many organizations. A person who preys on young people, and they pick a place to work/volunteer that will put them in close contact with the young people they take advantage of. You don't look at the name of an institution, or assume that evil isn't there. Evil is everywhere. What parents can do is make sure they are continually talking/engaging their children on "good" and "bad" touch. We as parents can let our kids know that no one (relatives, family friends, mentors) should ever make them feel "uncomfortable", and they need to let us know if someone does. The key as a parent is to communicate with our kids. Children are targets for pedophiles, they seek them out, they seek out the vulnerable families, and they gain their trust and then abuse them.

This IS a race issue. Do you honestly think if that assistant had seen a little white boy, naked and pinned against a wall while a grown man is attacking him that he would not have reacted differently? You are dilusional. If he cant relate to the victim he is not going to care as much. He might have been concerned but the concern was for the program and not the welfare of the child or else he would have yelled and tried to break it up and called the cops just as soon as he pulled the kid out of the situation and made sure he was safe. Race has everything to do with it.
