Something else we must all bear in mind. Corporations will survive this most recent debate on healthcare "reform" whatever the outcome. Should the cost of insuring employees continue to impact their bottom line, its the employee who will suffer. After the Clinton failure, there was an increase in temporary and contract employment, probably the largest contributor to the increase in the un-insured population. Should this administration fail, many will face employment without employer provided insurance coverage; and we all know what happens to a Pyramid when its base is compromised. I'm looking forward to the next show down; Social Security and Medicare.
