While I absolutely agree with your statement, I also feel we must identify how WE are complicit to the folly.
Today, there is not so much direct application of oppression by "them". There is more so perpetuation of their mentality BY US. Just look at the corrupt and oppressive regimes in Afrika. Look at the corrupt and oppressive actions in Jamaica and TnT.
Today in my community, the white triggers are more likely to be pulled by black fingers.
The first step to liberation is an INTERNAL cleansing in my opinion.
