We as African people cannot and should not close our minds, and our eyes to the betrayal of our people, whether it took place in 1739, or it takes place today, we must find some ways and means to make the corrections, or else the following generation will grow up thinking it is alright, for us to live a life of betraying our people as we live from year to year. In every history book which you can read about those people who allowed themselves to be called the Maroons, their activities of betrayal are written on the pages. This is their chance to abandon the name Maroon and take on their real original name of Coromantee. the old men who did the act of betrayal are dead and gone, so the following generation should not carry on this legacy of betrayal by keeping the name Maroon, when their true and original name is Coromantee. Make a serious effort to redeem yourselves and your Ancestors. It is your duty to correct the mistakes which your Ancestors who are past and gone did make.
Cormantee YES. Maroons NO.
Take the best care of yourselves and your people.
Again I send many oceans of blessings and self determination to African people everywhere.
ONE BLACK HEART ONE BLACK LOVE.
Baba Ras Marcus.
