They got a low low low minimum wage, but no maximum wage.
It seems that the less actual work you do, the more pay you get, in babylon.
I am still trying to get back the 700-odd pounds of MY tax money that the UK owes me since 2001.
How much tax dem man get away without paying?
I think the solution to this kind of system is co-operative economics... as KaribKween and Oshun Auset have hinted at... worker/community-owned co-operatives producing products to satisfy people's needs, not inventing new useless products to convince people they "need" because of greed.
Of course, how to get from here to there is the problem.
I know in the 80s when I was growing up in Guyana we were the People's CO-OPERATIVE Socialist Republic of Guyana and co-ops was supposed to be the whole basis of we economy. Of course, theory and practice can be two different things, and I'll leave that at that.

Do you think we could do away with money altogether, at any point?

Everything just free. Take what you need whilst being considerate of others. Put in a certain amount of work in your chosen field towards the benefit of all, and receive all the benefits freely in return, the same as anyone else.
Is this an impossible dream or could it be achieved do you think?
