Re: Goddess rejection is the genesis of babylon.

this conversation has been very insightful and has bordered on hilarious at times! Is it the term worship (?) maybe that throws ones off, or do ones on this message board really subscribe to the downpression of women?!--in the name of the most high no less! Ones are so quick to talk about 'fags' within the context of of chanting down womban, and that paradox leaves a calmer man laughing...also it would be to the atvantage to the rastafari community as a whole if ones would refrain from using the names of bubblegum pop singers, politrixans, and murderous diktaters as a basis for comparing the ideas of bredren too! Its insulting to the majority of rasta who would only speak such a babylon to chant them down, not toss around as part of a rasta insult redderic. Iman ask a question; who bring a man on earth? who bring a womban on earth? who provides for the man an the womban? who enables a man an wombans blessed child to come forward ina the world? who sees over the generations as they pass? is it a man or a womban? ....who is more blessed, man or woman?

Lets remember that during his ten day coronation ceromony, HIM Selassie I parted with tradition when he insisted the Empress Mennen be crowned in the very same ceromony and walk in royal Ighness at his side, as opposed to the long standing tradition of a seperate-next day coronation ceremony for the empress. Luminaries from seventy two nations came to watch this example of complete dignaty- mind and matter as one form. Truly fufilling of Icient prophecy, here they stand the Alpha and Omega, the begining and the end. A complete cycle as a manifest of the Orthodox Ithiopian Davidic tradition and an intentional example of rightness in the name of Makeda the Queen of Sheba who bore the blood of Solomon to be preserved and revered in the sanctity of Ithiopia. It was the will of Selassie that we big up th empress. So who will chant her down? Iman also must say that 'worship' is a loaded word, it can truly be taken a number of ways...but no need to talk about who is and is not rasta. We are all rasta, from the begining to the end, children of Jah.

Blessed Love
