I personally don't care if these oppressors ever apologize for slavery and/or colinization. They are doing the same thing(slavery) in another form(capitalism), so how could they apologize for what they haven't stopped doing? The form has changed but the essense has remained the same. PLUS, you can't apoligize for things like genocide and slavery/colinization anyhow. Once they are done, they are done.

I personally don't think we will get anything like reparations until we have a united and liberated Africa and a global Pan-African reality (via revolution). Power concedes nothing without demand. The only way to demand anything from power is to have power yourself. Which, at this point we do not have.

That being said, I fully support any and all efforts our people put in towards reparations, I just hope that those putting in the work do so with the notion that it is a means to an end, and not an end in it's self. That it can be used as a stepping stone in our liberation struggle but is not the final destination. Even if we get reparations the struggle will continue until we have total liberation.

For the original poster. There are many organizations that are fighting for reparations internationally. One of the U.S. national organizations fighting for reparations is N'COBRA(National Coalition of Blacks for Reparations in Amerikkka). We cannot make any forward movements in any of the fronts of our struggle unless we do it in an organized fashion. Individualism get us nowhere fast. Organize.
