Baba Ras Marcus, I give thanks for the I's sharing of experiences and wisemind. Blessed are InI elders such as the I who have led InI out of the mental slavery of Babylon! I very much agree with the vast majority of what the I says.

I have written elsewhere about the role of the Jamaican elders such as the Iself in the "cultural decolonization" of that country and indeed many countries of the Caribbean. InI elders truly led the decolonization of African minds and also, and this point seems most under-recognized, Rasta directly impacted and contributed to the achievement of Independence from the British crown. I would like to ask the I's opinion of/ experiences with Ras Sam Brown. What are the I's thoughts about Rastafari participating in party politics in the Diaspora? Does the I sight political systems as inherently 'polytricks' and those who operate within them as inevitably corrupt by them? I sight that this was the opinion of many early Rastafari and am wondering if the elder I's experience suggests that this is one of those things that has changed or needs to change. I heard that a Rastafari ran for political office in Jamaica in recent years.
