* Ok . . . so since you are agreeing with Maat, then I'm going to assume your point is that the impetus for this movement isn't about justice, it is about fear of losing privilege. I understand this . . . and this is why I brought up the reality of the entrenched nature of these social structures. If "whites" will not let go of privilege, are you saying that they will never truly part ways with the system/institutionalized forms that gives us said privilege? So any movement in this direction will be short-circuited when privilege is re-promised(give us a new deal)?
