The writer's intent is not to diminish in any way the suffering of the people of Sudan from the induced civil war there or principals of religious freedom.  The Sudan Tribune is situated in Melbourne Australia? (explanations appreciated).  There are factions within factions within factions.  the net result is continuance of a weakening strategy by the usual suspects (USA, Israel and EU), inncluding all israel hollywood.  The chinese appear to be backing the sudanese govt with arms, they have an agenda.  Since Sudan is the fulcrum for AFRICOM and eventual military basing in east africa, all comments welcome. Again, I write, the muslims of sudan may be anethma to some AFrican Nationalists and that is appreciated, however, it is undeniable that sudanese muslims, who are black africans too, see the manipulated American /Israeli trained and educated serparatists as Crusader Bait and that they, the muslims, , will wind up like the Iraqis and the Afghanis, along with their irradiated/blown up/starving women and children.  Further balkanization will only further the aims of the usual suspects.

The following is copied from a website article in 2001, it is imperfect in analysis surely, but the numbers are what are important and who is backing who and one can read between the lines. I used it as a source because even the usual suspects cannot escape the obvious, but with hollywood spin and christian zionist evangelicalism rampant in the USA, no one in any sizable number here really cares about the killing:

udan People's Liberation Army (SPLA)
Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM)

With the exception of a fragile peace established by negotiations between southern Sudanese insurgents (the Anya Nya) and the Sudan government at Addis Ababa in 1972, and lasting until the resumption of the conflict in 1983, southern Sudan has been a battlefield. The north-south distinction and the hostility between the two regions of Sudan is grounded in religious conflict as well as a conflict between peoples of differing culture and language. The language and culture of the north are based on Arabic and the Islamic faith, whereas the south has its own diverse, mostly non-Arabic languages and cultures -- with few exceptions non-Muslim, and its religious character was indigenous (traditional or Christian).

The origins of the civil war in the south date back to the 1950s. On August 18, 1955, the Equatoria Corps, a military unit composed of southerners, mutinied at Torit. Rather than surrender to Sudanese government authorities, many mutineers disappeared into hiding with their weapons, marking the beginning of the first war in southern Sudan. By the late 1960s, the war had resulted in the deaths of about 500,000 people. Several hundred thousand more southerners hid in the forests or escaped to refugee camps in neighboring countries. By 1969 the rebels had developed foreign contacts to obtain weapons and supplies. Israel, for example, trained Anya Nya recruits and shipped weapons via Ethiopia and Uganda to the rebels. Anya Nya also purchased arms from Congolese rebels. Government operations against the rebels declined after the 1969 coup, and ended with the Addis Ababa accords of 1972 which guaranteed autonomy for the southern region.

The civil war resumed in 1983 when President Nimeiri imposed Shari'a law, and has resulted in the death of more than 1.5 million Sudanese since through 1997. The principal insurgent faction is the Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM), a body created by the Sudan People's Liberation Army (SPLA). The SPLA was formed in 1983 when Lieutenant Colonel John Garang of the SPAF was sent to quell a mutiny in Bor of 500 southern troops who were resisting orders to be rotated to the north. Instead of ending the mutiny, Garang encouraged mutinies in other garrisons and set himself at the head of the rebellion against the Khartoum government. Garang, a Dinka born into a Christian family, had studied at Grinnell College, Iowa, and later returned to the United States to take a company commanders' course at Fort Benning, Georgia, and again to earn advanced economics degrees at Iowa State University. By 1986 the SPLA was estimated to have 12,500 adherents organized into twelve battalions and equipped with small arms and a few mortars. By 1989 the SPLA's strength had reached 20,000 to 30,000; by 1991 it was estimated at 50,000 to 60,000.

Since 1983, the SPLA has been divided into 3 main factions: the SPLA Torit faction led by John Garang; the SPLA Bahr-al-Ghazal faction led by Carabino Kuany Bol; and the South Sudan Independence Movement led by Rick Machar. These internal divisions have intensified fighting in the south, hampering any potential peace settlement. The SPLA remains the principal military force in the insurgency.

In April 1997 the South Sudan Independence Movement/Army (SSIM/A), which broke away from the SPLA, and several smaller southern factions concluded a peace agreement with the Government. These former insurgent elements then formed the United Democratic Salvation Front (UDSF). However, the SPLM, its armed wing, the SPLM/A, and most independent analysts have regarded the April 21 Agreement as a tactical government effort to enlist southerners on its side. The SPLM/A and its northern allies in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) carried out successful military offensives in areas along the borders with Ethiopia and Eritrea and in large parts of the south during the year. Neither side appears to have the ability to win the war militarily.

In 1996 the US government decided to send nearly $20 million of military equipment through the 'front-line' states of Ethiopia, Eritrea and Uganda to help the Sudanese opposition overthrow the Khartoum regime. US officials denied that the military aid for the SPLA and the Sudanese Allied Forces (SAF), described as 'non-lethal' -- including radios, uniforms, boots and tents -- was targeted at Sudan. The Pentagon and CIA considered Sudan to be second only to Iran as a staging ground for international terrorism. CIA Director John Deutch made a 3-day visit to the Ethiopian capital in April 1996, where he noted that funds had been significantly increased for a more activist policy including preemptive strikes against terrorists and their sponsors. Reportedly several Operational Detachments-Alpha (also called A-Teams) of the US army were operating in support of the SPLA.

added view to the quotation above

Sudan Such a Troubled Area in Africa ?

The conquest of the Sudan ( Sudan in Arabic = Bilad-es-Sudan ) means , country of the blacks - that region of Africa which stretches, south of the Sahara and Egypt, from Cape Verde on the Atlantic to Massawa on the Red Sea. It is bounded South.

(I) by the maritime countries of the west coast of Africa,

(2) by the basin of the Congo, and

(3) by the equatorial lakes, and East. by the Abyssinian and Galla highlands.

The name is often used in Great Britain in a restricted sense to designate only the eastern part of this vast territory, but it is properly applied to the whole area indicated, which corresponds roughly to that portion of negroid Africa north of the equator under Mahommedan influence. The terms Nigritia and negro land, at one time current, referred to the same region.

The Sudan has an ethnological rather than a physical unity, and politically it is divided into a large number of States, all now under the control of Christian -European powers with exception of THE EXCLUSIVE affair of Lado ( Lado Enclave ) which till todate the Europeans find it hard issue to bring it under their Rule Control .

The Sudan contains the basin of the Senegal and parts of three other hydrographic systems, namely: the Niger, draining southwards to the Atlantic; the central depression of Lake Chad; and the Nile, flowing northwards to the Mediterranean. Lying within the tropics and with an average elevation of not more than 1500 to 2000 ft. above the sea .

The most Regions of the back cut off from the black North Africa by the Saharan desert, the inhabitants, who belong in the main to the negro family proper, are thought to have received their so called and wrongly much talked of earliest civilisation from the East of Arab influence and the Moslem religion began to be felt in the western Sudan as early as the 9th century and had taken deep root by the end of the 11th centuary . The trend of the spread of Islam was through the war ( Jihad war ) declared on the black people which statted from 700 b.c in the North part of Africa .

The existence of Native States of Nubia , Ethiopia , Eritrea and Lado hindered for some centuries the spread of Islam in the Eastern Sudan .  And throughout these Country States some tribe - Natives ( commonly were and still  refered to by the Europeans and the Arabs as the pagan Savages because of not being converted to either Islam or Christianity )   have remained without even the Western European way of worship ( Religion ) or without the Arab Religion Islam  , hence sticking to their own way of worship ( Religion ) till todate . Such is like Ori belief as a Religion Affair in Lado .

It was not until the last quarter of the 18th century that the European Natives became the ruling force to re - estabish what the Arabs were doing but this time in the cloak name of Christianity out of which is fogged their political Limelines over the Continent of Africa .

The terms Western, Central and Eastern Sudan became indicative of a created geographical positions merely. In fact the various States existing before in Africa were / are politically divisible into four groups by the Western European political minds up to this time I am writing :

(1) Those West of the Niger river;

(2) Those between the Niger and Lake Chad;

(3) Those between Lake Chad and the Basin of the Nile river;

(4) Those in the Upper Nile valley river.

The first group includes the native states of Bondu, Futa Jallon, Masina, Mossi and all the tribes within the great bend of the Niger. In the last quarter of the 18th century they fell under the control of France, the region being _style_d officially the French Sudan. In 1900 this _title_ was abandoned. The greater part of what was the French Sudan is now known as the Upper Senegal and Niger Colony (see Senegal, French West Africa ) . All these live now under the Sovereignty Status of France .

The second group of the Sudan States is almost entirely within the British protectorate of Northern Nigeria. It includes the Sultanate of Sokoto and its dependent emirates of Kano, Bida, Zaria, etc ---., and the Ancient Sultanate of Bornu, which, with Adamawa, is partly within the German Colony of Cameroon ( see Nigeria and Cameroon ).

The third or Central group of Sudan States is formed of the sultanates of Bagirmi with Kanem and Wadai. Wadai was the last State of the Sudan to come under European influence, its conquest being effected in 1909. This third group is included in French Congo.

The fourth group consists of the States conquered during the 18th century by the Egyptians and now under the joint control of Great Britain and Egypt. These countries are known collectively as the Anglo - Egyptian Sudan which became independent as todays - The Republic State of Sudan but still under the Anglo - Egyptian Sovereignty . Lado is not a part of this Independent Republic of Sudan at all .

The Anglo-Egyptian Sudan , the region which before the revolt of the Arabized black tribes under Mahommed Ahmed in 1881-84 was known as the Egyptian Sudan has, since its reconquest by the Anglo-Egyptian expeditions of 1896 - 8, has been the Area under the joint Sovereignty of Great Britain and Egypt. The limits of this dominium differ slightly from those of the Egyptian Sudan of the pre - Mahdi Arabised period.

It is bounded North by Egypt ( the 22nd parallel of N. lat. being the dividing line),

East - by the Red Sea, Eritrea and Abyssinia,

South - by Lado and Belgian Congo.

West - by French Congo. North of Darfur is the Libyan Desert, in which the western and northern frcntiers meet. Here the boundary is undefined , ( this is the real cause of War trouble in Darfur of the Boadry Issue at this very time of 21st centuary ) .

The Anglo-Egyptian Sudan however forms the compact territory extending south wards to the north boader line of Lado (Lado , which has never fallen Legally under British Authority ) brings the whole of the Nile valley from the equatorial lakes to the Mediterranean under the control of Great Britain. The Anglo - Egyptian Sudan extends north to south about in a direct line, and west to east about also in a direct line. It covers about 950,000 sq. m., being about one/fourth  the area of Europe ; what follows the term Sudan is used to indicate the Anglo-Egyptian domiinium only.

But there is still now what is boiling in the Cocoons of the Anglo - America mnds is to capture and destroy Lado as the Kingdom State still in Africa to show to the world that Africa has finally been completely colonised by the Western European world as enshrined in the Berlin Treaty . This , they are bringing out now by creating a new State to be called a Christian Southern Sudan State in Sudan to replace the political Indentity Issue of the State Kingdom of Lado which became so known founded Kingdom by 9th May 864 A,D and by the Lado Constitution of 9th May 1772 . One of the oldest State Kingngdom of the World still . The fighting going on in the Sudan Central Africa is all for that . The war machinery is being controlled by the Anglo - Americans ---- COLONISATION OF LADO . The question is , will they succeced these Western Groups in their political intrigues still being played on the blacks - Sudan   ? ?

Thanks for the all important geo political history, which is complex, like most issues pertaining to AFrican land rights.  It puts the southern christian "Sudan" state into a more complete context.  A better understanding now ......

Sometimes one has to recall just how vast and rich the continent is.......

A back ground summary of the fight behind the SPLA TO KNOW :

Here are some specifications to follow very carefully in the Literature please .

Dinka people of Sudan are not in anyway Sudanic Ladoans at all . Ladoans are descendents of the 29 tribes who all live in Lado land ( see LADO on the World Maps Before the second World war .)

Bahr el Ghazal of the Sudan State is the Major Objective of the SPLA

Location of Bahr el Ghazal in Sudan

The Bahr el Ghazal in Arabic language is both a River and a Region of southwestern Republic of Sudan State . The Region takes its name from the River. This River flows about 80O - 810 km east to Lake No where it joins the Bahr el Jebel to form the White Nlie sometimes called ( Bahr el Abiad ). The region in itself today , for the Administrative conditions in the Sudan State consists of the States of North Bahr el Ghazal , West Bahr al Ghazal , Lakes and Warab . Bahr el Ghazal borders Central African Republic to the West and Lado to the South

The population of this Region is mainly by the Dinka people, and others are the Nilotic Tribes : the Shilluk and the Nuer and Jo Luo and the Acholi and Lotuhu .

Bahr el Gazal historically was constantly subject to raids by the Fur and Arab Slave traders from the neighbouring Region of Darfur . This Slave trade was apparently put to end in 1864 by the Khedive of Egypt but soon re - emerged under Native Merchants, who set themselves up as Princes who created their own individual Soldiers . The most powerful known of them became of Al - Zubayr .

Al - Zubayr fought and defeated a joint Turkish / Egyptian force sent to Bahr el Ghazal in 1873 . However the Khedive compromised the defeat and made Bahr el Ghazal a nominal province of Egypt, with Al-Zubayr as its Governor.

Bahr el Gazal as the region was later incorporated into Anglo-Egyptian Sudan and became the ninth Province after being split from Equatoria ( LADO ) in 1948 , became a Province, and then State, under the Republic of the State Sudan today .

In 1996 the Region was divided into the four current Districts as part of an Administrative re - organisation of the Country - Sudan State .

Bahr el Gazar has been affected by civil war for many years. It has ever been a scene of fighting in the First Sudanese Civil War - AnyaAnya wars against the State of Sudan . kHARTUM GOVERNMENT

In 1982 the Sudan People’s Liberation Army ( SPLA ) was formed there by John Garang of Dinka TRIBE to fight again the Arab-dominated Government in Khartoum following the disorganised Anyanya war

This became known as the Second Sudanese Civil War . A conflict which continued and lasted until 2003 and killed more than three million people. A majority of the population of the region is internally uprooted or displaced and largely most of them are refugees now in neighboring countries especially now settling in Lado Land .( Lado Occupied ).

The British Politricks now and knowing that Sudan State in International Law Affairs is still tied down within the British Dominium keeps control over the Nothern Territory of Lado where they are establishing by force claiming JUBA in Lado becomes the Capital City of the New to be created Cristian Southern Sudan Nation State by 2011 to replace the Lado Kingdom State . This is the Kind of War fare now  Britain likes on to fight Lado to wear off the Lado people's nerves . -----

thank you for more enlightening detail on this.  A question:  when will the more complete picture of divide and conquer "foreign aid" and fomented civil war as you've described in many posts make its way to the floor of congress of the United States , voiced by members of the "black congressional caucus"?  Why should a white man have to hold their feet to the fire in 2002?  What does Obama say?  The facts are plain to see.

A US citizen's perspective:
Many articles have been written and posts made on the i-net recently to a rare enough audience that laments the final victory of British / Dutch/ Holy Roman Empire et al to the reconquest of commonwealth USA (north american union).  The lament that black soldiers of this new defeated America should be used for  recolonizing Africa was never important to this black caucus supposedly representing the African American interest. In fact, as sleazy lawyers feeding at the trough of corruption, they are benefited by international parasatism enforced through high tech militarism

This site has some official left propaganda out of New York that ignores the overriding dynamic of international power politicks of the last century and a half, the destruction of secular democratic republicanism in favor of serfdom.  What was the soviet union or cuba but a reordering of society reintroducing landless peasants that worked for an ownership of everything class pretending to be "revolutionaries"?  The latest miracle of cuba, so called, was a grass roots agricultural reform antithetical to Castro and his policies (good for you cuban people).  Why is a jesuit trained dictator who calls himself a marxist any different than various other pyramid scheme elites?  What about Mr. Sulfer, Chavez?
Does anyone understand the travesty of reward and punishment program using essential commodities, like oil, to shape political obediance, a la Chavez?  That is despotism. Chavez's quasi religious (if not outright) sermons characterizing george bush as the devil is ........pathetic and ridiculous, getting people to focus on a singularity of monumentally unimportant dimensions in the greater scheme of what is happening to us.

Marxism is a judeo-christian construct, one with many manipulators and hangers on that promotes openly quasi religious leadership based on familial succsssion, like the Castros.  Who, one might guess, is behind that?.  The operative idea is control all sides with false opposition constructs manufactured to frustrate various causes of liberty and self determination, especially to destroy indegenous cultures in favor of the agressors murderous religious orthodoxy (read spanish conquest of the americas genocide).  The jesuits even have a name for this ....left to the reader to research.

Everyone is hugging the pope these days, especially his white collar shock troops, zionist jews from New York, no less.  The cat is out of the bag, they've won, and be prepared , it's only going to get worse as the new/old world order unleashes America the Selusa Secundus on the world proper, its armies enlisted from the desperate and degraded peoples trapped in violence laden communities manufactured through various propaganda means and managed confinement.

It has taken a long time since 1812 and the better parts of the republic are dead and treasonous confederate british loyalists and papists occupy the highest levels of US govt ("neo cons")  .  At present, it seems a techno fascist fuedal society is upon us, as the vast majority of Americans will become propertyless in terms of land amidst a rigidly defined caste/class structure taking the place of the once mighty family farm. In california, large areas of heavily timbered and water resource rich land are being bought out by elite eastern establishment clubs connected to Europe, masquerading as nature preserves for the rich while the local yokels lose their modest homes or are driven out by paid off police harrassment.

There have been many posts about population reduction policy here.  A thought, the great technological construct built by the serfs is soon to become self tending and the population that both built and was taxed into poverty to create the value needed for this enterprise is no longer needed as the 500 million club plans for nature theme park earth for their benefit and enjoyment.  We are being tricked into building the means for our eventual replacement.  The nuclear power industry is all about miniaturizing nuclear power plants (new japan/russia alliance for nuclear power) for purposes of animating robots of various designs that will become the unliving unconscious slaves for the new elite. There is absulutely no need for nuclear power to meet basic energy needs of regular people.   this isn't science fiction, it is rapidly progressing now, mostly in the military area.  African resources are key.  Oil and energy is everywhere, readily available, rare minerals are not.

The Nykach escarpment is a wonderful place for their new city on a hill in AFrica, overlooking the great lake, all that gold, all those resources, that perfect if sometimes hot climate, the underground river power system in place, and who knows what else is down there.....

Human society and the cosmos run in cycles, not linear "progress"  with a beginning and an end.  Marxism is Christianity with a messiah, or messiahs and prophets who are obeyed in compliance with priestly castes and regents of various types whose successions are predicated on blood lines, apostolic succession.  Marxism is filled with self fulfilling prophecies designed to protect "the plan" as it unfolds into the near future, just as other religions have constructed.

The government of China is getting ready to recognize the Vatican as a country and open diplomatic relations, even though only a tiny fraction of China's population is Catholic.  The original Chinese view of history based on thousands of years of philisophical discourse and involving great sacrifice, effort and patience has been dramatically replaced by marxist doctrine (western judeo christian orthodoxy with a twist).

The chinese ended serfdom and familial blood line based civil service thousands of years ago and Chinese peasants became possibly the first land holders contradistinct from feudalist type structures that lasted in teh west until only a century ago.  What should the present system be called in China now, if not feudal, as landless industrial workers feul the rise of a super techno-fascist elite, as corporate farms take over the land and millions are driven into impoverished semi urban detention areas?  This, truly IS progress in its unvarnished real form.

The writer would only mention this out of respect for China and Chinese people as lament, since they are facing so much pressure to match the insane policies of agressor American and European nations in the current recolonzing efforts in Asia / Pacific , building ever greater military machines and militarizing space.

could we not get something refreshing from African people?  Well, that is, there is some stuff that is refreshing, as in looking at history and culture and deciding that what is "progressive" and liberal and new is not all it is cracked up to be sometimes.

If I were to be critical and  so expressing myself likewise I would arrive by drawing a conclusion that the Africans are making a grave error by turning to China for her Economic Organisation levels  . The theme philosophy of Economics can not be of either Western or Eastern World  based on philosophies for Africa 's development  .  As a priority , may be there is a saying that , the Africans ought to have in their best knoweldge in this complex world Affairs in  escogitating on all lines :  when , how , why and to know what they are looking for in the first instance .

May be wherein possible ,  they may be able to learn from all corner angles of the World Human Beings . There are good Human beings  as well living in the Western World who share Africa 's past and present and tomorrows  problems to tackle in Africa . I like saying that there actually are no boundary lines drawn anyhere to acquire knowledge which is a patrimony of Humany souls . Lets all sit down to learn from each other then .  I guess then :  Africans  come up on International platform talks on each and every topic to be raised especially on thorny issues of  Political interests to all and as in general Politics characterises the Human life in particular to Social life living altogether in all spheres of life  .

seems reasonable to me. China at present is looking for material and avoiding, according to official policy, interfering in domestic politicks and struggles of trading partners, even though, obviously, the mere fact of trade supports one side over another, potentially.  It seems that trade and information sharing may be enjoined carefully for common benefit provided sovereign status is respected.  I probably shot my mouth off a little in that post you replied to and wasn't thinking that carefully. I should keep an open mind, whether it's a socialist or a libertarian anarchist. Personally, I think Africa is in a unique position to rebound into a new cycle with fresh/traditional thinking and we are seeing this, but inertia from tired end of cycle colonial mob rule still is hanging on, trying to refresh itself rather blatantly.

Of great interest  when it comes to meddling of foreigners in Africa,  would be King Bono's (the rock star) recent proclamation that Japan should not unilaterally engage african countries in development and aid issues.  It is amazing how a rock singer has such power to influence on complex matters of trade and international relations.  Bono proclaimed that Japan should pony up money to "international agencies" like the UN, World Bank, (good grief!)etc, so that everyone can "share" in the great duty of white man's burden (my take) to "develop" AFrica.  This has reference to proposed rail lines in Africa, among other things.

Strictly from a practical standpoint, leaving aside thoughtful and necessary critical review of China or Japan policy of trade in AFrica, should not AFrican leadership be grossly offended by a rock singer proclaiming what an entire country with relatively positive bilateral relations with African countries should do?  What AFrican countries should accept?  Strictly from a common sense approach, if I were to engage in negotiations over contracting for rail infrastructure in my country, would I want a hodge podge of international "organizations" and enforced multilateral contracts among a host of  bidders entitled by some sort of political accomodation(s), or would I go with the most streamlined and best service/technology approach?  Furthermore, would I want to engage in contracts with parties who were never partners before, but oppressors as opposed to new bidders who had no such baggage?  There is a lot more to say on this beyond such a brief comment, but, thinking of fresh new vital initiatives from African people, perhaps African leadership will stand up to Bono's Musharreff treatment.  When it comes to rail, why not work with the best? (Japan) and those Japanese can work in hot humid weather and don't eat as much.  Of course, the Swiss will be saying they are just as good.  France would have the sexiest looking trains and the tech is good, but the engineers and workers would probably be on strike all the time.

I am sure there is some excellent African proverb about dividing up a pile of grain for common benefit to such an extent that everyone is sure to starve.

One supposes bono could tell his fans to stop buying I pods or something if japan dares to make direct partnerships with AFrican countries. What the h***l does Ireland have to do with any of this anyway?  I don't remember any major positive efforts on the part of Bono's home country in partnering with African nations and people to build up something as extraordinary as a major rail system. Japan and China do not have a reparations debt, yet they are spending large quantities of their hard working populace's tax money in Africa, of course for enlightened and perhaps unenlightened self interest.

some might say that extensive new rail systems partly owned by foreigners would lead to "opening up" the continent further to material exploitation.  Something to be cosidered and negotiated perhaps.

Honestly,  Bono is acting like Leopold, actually whining about not getting a piece of the "chocolote pie" that Europeans think they are entitled to......by what? History of oppression, planned impoverishment and cultural destruction?  Maybe he should be called King Leopold/Bono and he can name his queen Oprah. Thus, the two headed hydra from America and Europe arises......Bonoprah!  AFrican leadership and people, bow before the Bonoprah....it has spoken!  Is this not the silliest thing imaginable, that Bono and Geldorf are listened to by anyone on this?  Britain and Ireland will show Japan and China how to understand AFrican people?(this was one of Bono's statements about the foregoing recently appearing in Japanese press and in Europe).  How utterly patronizing.  N8 (not being paid to say this by japan or china....)

THE HYPOCRICY OF  BONO

The hypocricy of  Bono is just a revival of the old working formula of diffusing information which one time was done in a different way . The attempt to take the land of the Africans, through military force and to have established  new  societies on Western World style, intending to use the Africans who survived the onslaught as slave labour is still the aim to retain whatever has been achieved .

When this seemily today is failing due to African resistance, the old era ( old system of colonisation method ) really is turning out and let Africans not to know that still , a process of military occupation of African land, forced labour of Africans for old  Elites and mass indoctrination of Africans through . 1 ) the school systems and 2 ) religious propaganda which really is a policy of theft, of African raw materials , Human souls  and intellectual property, as well as a means to create markets for Elites goods remain here the current African dependency on the so called Elites old world and this continues to be enforced and this time through a new message diffussion system  " Music " using persons like Bono   .

In Asia the processes of domination, brutilization and theft were practiced also with a similar barbarism of Old Elites programmes  . No corner of the world is safe from this forms of civilisation which I think  earns a term meaning to a form of  " Un-civilization "  being over Mankind  .

This founded ; the " primitive accumulation " way  of capital through slavery that built up the capital base is still needed for the Old Elites rooted means for industrialization. Meaning the colonization process that advocates still to supply raw materials needed to complete the futhermore industrialization processes . In effect supplying the real foundation for the current transformed new Elites ( yet they are still the old Mentors ) affluence for the power control . A resemblence ,  which the Asian world Elites are craving for the same purpose . Africa is on the Asian mind thought for that .

Preceding the official initiation of this process of African  mind control through the colonisation system  "  in the 1800´s " , the Old Western Elite  Industrial worker threatened outright revolt .

In order to maintain social order the capitalist elite of the European Western World agreed to hand over a little more of the profits to the worker, guarantee a minimum of social and economic security and the worker agreed to relinquish the revolutionary socialist project of transforming society and instead focus on getting their piece of the pie, through representation - within the capitalist system – by the Unions and their Political offspring. It was a compromise that gave birth to the Western European welfare state and Western social democracy.

It is important to understand that this was an internal class struggle, both capitalists and socialists were in agreement in the thinking, that the rest of " the uncivilized and here,  may I refer to Africans in particular " world should be colonized and under the guidance of an enlightened Europe, taught the ways of civilization. They merely differed on which class in society should benefit from this, the worker or the factory owner.

The entire Marxist economic theory is based on classical British economic theory - the basis of exploitative capitalism . In short the Marxists believed that the wealth amassed through the processes of production, as well as the means of production should be in the hands of the working class, instead of being monopolized by the capital owning class.

Generating this wealth required colonization, which 19th century socialists where in favour of . The second communist International in 1907 declared in a majority resolution that " under a socialist regime colonization could be a force for civilization ."

Though it is true European socialism both before and after this resolution rejected this train of thought, there is NO DENYING that the imperial thought, is / was part of the historical baggage which European socialism is/was a carrier of and which formed / forms this practise till todate . Especially the socialism that developed within the Western colonial powers.

The fact therefore remains of the matter is that there is NO WAY, any promise of wealth, freedom or democracy offered or will be offered to by these Schools of Thouht by persons like Bono by applying musical voice who wether they belong to or come from the Western political right-wing or left-wing . To the best knowledge wealth, freedom and democracy is based on the African lack of the same, it was then and still is today.

All the wonderful declaration of human rights, democratic constitutions and humanistic ideals which one hears in Bono's Musical preachings are merely to revive this old style philosophy in a music ryme which I think Bono claims could work in another tune way of message diffussion to the African population and to the world as a whole and thinking that African's mind perception is so rudimental entangled within  music notes only : The African has no thought mind conceptionally still . Meaning these ideas brought to them ( Africans )  in a new message face makes sense : Justice, Liberty, Prosperity, Equity etc. But to me and to some more Africans today I think when these declarations were written, people from Africa weren`t considered human indeed . That is why the same people who spoke of universal human rights could own slaves without seriously pondering the contradiction and why people who advocated socialist revolution could be in favour of a process of colonization that murdered Africans by the millions, e.g. the Belgian colonization of Congo and much spread out in Lado till today . Bono is a new Bono pharaoh dictating so ----

As long as the myth of the Old enlightenment and the false history the West Elite teaches itself, about the motivations of its actions, through the past 500 years is propagated, this Old Elite cannot change. As long as Africans accept, this version of history as world history – of which a world of Africa is a part – the Africans accept themselves as inferiors.

Dear Friend , I am honest in my writing here and your writing above has inspired me a lot of your frankness and you are demostrating for at least a new world order for a new world .Thanks to you for your insights

In a nutshell, friend.  You said it.  That latest reply of yours in its entirety was real music to my ears.  Never does it cease to amaze me the polyglot abilities of Africans. Not to mention fresh thinking.

Thanks for the all important geo political history, which is complex, like most issues pertaining to AFrican land rights.  It puts the southern christian "Sudan" state into a more complete context.  A better understanding now ......

Sometimes one has to recall just how vast and rich the continent is.......
