Laying in my bed not able to sleep (might have something to do with the energy drink I had about 2 hrs ago LOL) But my thoughts again are thoughts of unity, pride, community, My thoughts are of our nieghborhoods as villages. Where we have a council of Elders (Women and Men) where throughout the city wherever we have communities that they will be one in vision and strength. Where just as the Chinese in China town says what or what does not happen we have the same strength. Elders in every community. that come together as a council to decide what is best for us. those who know our plight, not because they know all, but because we communicate with them. Because we empower them to represent us. Men/Women of good honorable reputation. Not crooks etc. Women and men who have our support. And the political powers know that we support our elders. What a change it would make. No longer could the crooked politicians continue in their pratices because they would know we have the power to remove them from political power (voting). Nothing would pass by the council, no more gentrification of our nieghborhoods. No more foriegn invaders setting up shops and stealing from us. And eventually we could pull our youth in line. We would recruit the youth who are not wasted in mind. to be stength to us. we could again claim our streets with the help of all acting together. No more police harrasement

(not talking about when they arrest for a reason) but no more harrasement because of the color of our skin. Yes we have the power, but that power lies in our unity. our organizing. our council of elders who will be heard by all. These are my thoughts, even I have thoughts of streetwork to organize. Is this my destiny I do not know, As I am sending this out to many, I am also sending this out to my Godmother, As she knows me and of my destiny. (Aboru Aboye Abosise Iya mi) I am mindful as well of my spirit, I am mindful of my need to grow spiritually, I am also mindful that I cannot give to anyone what I do not have. But these are my thoughts. I have much to do, on many levels, but this is on my mind this night.I know that this can be done. But in my doing any of it (and I dsperately want to) I know I have to have the commision of Oludamare, Ori Orisa, and My Anscestors. Again these are my thoughts . Do you feel me?

Peace

Yea, I'm feeling you there... serene, no doubt, but a long way off.

Keep the faith.
