As you are standing there and this baby comes from the woman's organ. You witness this, while the pelvic region is expanding about four or five inches in diameter for the head to pass through, and you are there. You can't perceive that you have anything to do with this 10,000 or 5,000 years ago. Witnessing the birth of that baby sets you thinking. You immediately start to transcend your mind, and you also start to attribute this to something beyond. Thus you start to believe. You start to wonder; why is it here? Where did it come from? And where is it going? Because you are now experiencing birth! But your experience is coming from a woman. Thus you start to pray and the woman becomes your Goddess, your first deity." (Dr. Yosef ben-Jochannon, pg: 89-90, New Dimensions in African History)

Nothing is older than the Great Mother and Child . . ." (Gerald Massey, pg: 13, A Book of the Beginnings, Vol. I)

We should first show solidarity with each other. We are Africans. We are black. Our first priority is ourselves.

Very true, everyone's first "god" is their mother... who you absolutely depend on for sustenance, comfort, protection, etc

Hotep Gman,
The matriarchal societies still intact, and the people still worship women and Black Goddesses, as sacred wombmen, they participate in the cyclic processes of the Spirit, Mother, and God of the universe Grin.
