There is a sea
Very far
Very distant from you
but you can smell it
and It makes your saliva thick
The sea carries apart of you
The sea is unending
Yet your thirst makes you believe
you could drink it down
to the very bottom
i wanted to mean that much to you at a time
but I was born were it is rare for you to believe I am beautiful
So it makes sense that you could never believe I am the sea that you long for...

You tend to overlook me even when
it is just you and I
Standing in the Fields of Beauty
As well as The Fields of War
i sharpened your machete' for you,
you took it out of my hands
and still i was noone
Because your eyes were fixed on material things,
you didn't even notice I painted my face for you.
That your reflection might be seen as a Holy Place where ever it lays

i don't know when time, and circumstances
will awaken the weary Soul of a Warrior
...
So until then I go to the sea,
and watch praying that Yemaya can convince Oggun Himself...
You are Holy...
