Repatriation to Glory

This melanin be remindin' me
What time it is, no chance of forgetting the shits always my face.
This land is not my land, so take me to my father's house, take me home.
I need a wide-open sea of existence, not a field of dreams I need a savannah, to manifest this great presence that’ll last through time.
My reality is freedom and this can no longer be contained, so yes me lion i'll tread on, a soldier fighting through life, fighting but no longer misguided.
What the f*** do you really think of me? Do you think change has any color, ‘cause my color sure ain’t gonna’ change.
I read about rights and equality, yet this rope gets tighter around me,
The government spreads the 'love' abroad and I can't afford to stop my own bleeding.
It’s lonely at the top, that’s where we are supposed to be, but I’m still walkin’ around needin’ and certainly not alone.
So i’ll still plant my seed in, knowing they’ll bring on change, Jah children will turn a new page move on from this legacy of rage.
Jah help us, the dawn of a new age, a repatriation to glory.
