spacious offices and executive chairs
"king herod's" oppresive throne has been replaced.
G8 summits, and UN conferences
"civilization's necessities" bypassing consciences.
destroying the lands,
down-pressing the people,
muffling expressions of ancient spirituality
the justification is "progress".
technological advances,
environmental regress,
in the name of efficiency, destroying the EARTH.
test tube babies, male pregnancies
egos undefined...
3 week poultry, carnivorous cattle
our greed creates our demise.
starving children faced with overfed shitzus,
gold chains and diamond necklaces,
the ever increasing consumer demand
our waste evades our thought.
plagued by wars and virii,
global unrest ensues.
rocketing university admissions,
yet billions spent on arms and ammunitions.
8hr work days, undervalued work-pays
the majority remains unemployed...
or underemployed...
education for but a few...
who is responsible? at the helm, is it "God"? tell me who?!!

History has shown that it is the inaction of those who could’ve acted; the indifference of those who should’ve known better; the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most that has made it possible for evil to triumph. - EMPEROR HAILE SELASSIE I
