i'm not rastafarian but i have quite a few friends who are, as well as a strong respect for it
it truly upsets me to hear people being that close-minded
recently i went off on a few fellow students for saying things like all rastas did was smoke ganga and for basically suggesting that rastfarianism is a cult
i wish schools would teach it as a religion when they teach about world religions. it would help greatly

I get very offended when people see it as just a "ghanja thing".  Most importantly when those misguided  opinions come up, I try to educate them.  Rasta isn't just about marijuana, it isn't a cult, and it's not a religion.  Rasta is a way of life. Beam
