Does anyone know where I can get a Calender that has significant dates in the Rastafarian culture?

If one does not exist..........are there any thoughts on developing one....for historical and religious reasons?

Can anyone help me to seek out important dates to observe?

Bless all those who can aide in my journey.

Hotep.

Greetings Anna,

there is no official calender of dates, as there is no one central Rastafarian body. Below is a few dates that ones may check for.

APRIL 15, AFRICA DAY---It has been five years since every year this day of April 15, was decreed to be celebrated as Africa's Independence Day.  This day is celebrated throughout Africa.  It reminds Us of the struggles for independence during the last twelve months and of our African brothers and sisters that are still engaged in the fight for freedom...

MARCH 1, ---The Battle of Adwa marked a turning point in the scramble for Africa and European colonialism.  On March 1, 1896, the united Ethiopian people, suffering great loss of life, decisively defeated the invading Italian army in the hills on the outskirts of Adwa, Tigray, in northern Ethiopia.  As a result--only twelve years after the 1884 Berlin Conference to carve up Africa--Italy, France and Britain all were force to formally acknowledge  the sovereign self-government of the people of Ethiopia.
