Parallel Universe?

What is the possibility that the wave-particle duality experiments are actually revealing two separate/parallel universes, one universe where light is a wave and one universe where light is a particle

This issue is only difficult for people who do not experience the Parallel Universe.
The wave and the particle is about where or should I say how one views the Universe. Most scientists do not get the function and effect of worm holes and black holes so I can give a simple example.
You have a hose connected to a tap so it exists in one state but it can also be taken to the garden and the hose itself can be buried where to the casual observer all they see is water spouting from the end. He or she may feel that is all to it. In this example the hose and water exists in parallel states. The part by the tap is one state and the end in the garden is the other. The water and hose binds the two together.

Is it possible that some of us are already living this reality of parallel universes? Is what the Buddhists call 'non-attachment' in fact a description of a shift into a parallel universe? That 'in the world but not OF the world' experience? And can the corresponding physiological changes be described and measured?

Thank you both for your feedback as this is a
BIG
question.!
I've been pondering...no one really knows exactly what LIGHT is as it can be both a Particle and a Wave! How many things do you know that can be 2 different things at the exactly the same time??! The paradox arising the dual nature of light and the weirdness of the subatomic universe are incredibly important and difficult for me to understand...
So, it seems like there is definitely MORE to a person than what we can SEE, feel or experience on a conscious or unconscious level and the
normal
everyday reality in which we live could not the most FUNDAMENTAL reality that we can be aware or have access. Immanuel Kant also claimed "space and time are only states of consciousness.. ", so is true that we could have access those parallel universes with our thoughts?

In Response To: PARALLEL UNIVERSE (
Rasta Israelites
)
Rasta Israelites!
Thank you for starting the topic on this board, for I believe this is an IMPORTANT question to ponder, which could help us understand the basics of the BIG UNIVERSE, its definitive function and perhaps...ORIGIN!
First, let' define "universe". When we speak of Universe we speak about a complex, partially or completely connected closed set of interacting sub-systems that don't (considerably) interfere with each other, remote, elements in the superposition. Any (complex) system and its coupled environment are qualified as Universe.
In term of small microscopic particles constituting all matter in the 'small' universes thus in the 'big' universe, it is possible for all atomic components to co-exist in parallel space-time continuums. In the double slit experiment, for example here, the wave function of the subatomic particles has DIFFERENT PATHS, and overlap at different space-time points creating the electromagnetic spectrum Light.
With this experiment, we are observing simultaneous universes in a non-interacting linear superposition! Which implied the questions "why aren't we aware of these other worlds in the big macrocosm", "why do we only ever experience one world?"
Many scientists, philosophers are unhappy with the theory of parallel universes because it seems to require a fundamental quantum ie. Energy split in one continuum. This contradicts the classical philosophy that observations should emerge only at one core physical conjecture and not at many and different elusive levels, as they are in the case of this wave-particle duality Light experiments interpretation.
According to present knowledge of physics it's possible to detect the presence of other nearby (subatomic) worlds, but It is IMPOSSIBLE travel to or communicates with them through intrusion effects ...It is so strange to our way of thinking because we can only think and perceive in three dimensions.
However, the goal of
MYSTICAL TEACHING OF ORIGINAL AFRICANS TRADITIONS
is similar of theoretical physics! Both seek to achieve an understanding of the Unity of the big Universe. The main difference is one is a subjective experience, and the other is an objective explanation.

To start with I think the idea of parallel universe can be confusing if people lack the experience. The "two Universes" they should be addressing is the subatomic Universe in relation to the physical Universe. There is a direct interaction between the two ‘universes' and many states of such interactions. The subatomic universe is what I call the inner universe and the other is what can easily be seen with the eyes in its physical dimension.
It has often been pointed out that in quantum mechanics a particle does not exist until you 'look' at it. It is here proposed that this results from the method of analysis rather than necessarily being a property of 'out there'.
A particle can be seen as a label for a point of observation within a very dynamic process. Once we are dealing with the interaction within the subatomic universe invariably we are dealing with movements and interactions in many directions. As such, the point of focus/attention or what is allowed through the type of observations made, is what will get labeled. But particles are part of a more dynamic process that does not stop at the point of observation.
The wave is more the observation of particles at a given speed and temperature. The wave can be the observation of the flow of subatomic elements in a particular direction drawn by one of several forces.
But since we know that the subatomic elements interact at different speeds and in different states at the same time, then much of the movement goes on beyond the observation methods that are currently available to 'scientists'.
The essential string of subatomic particles in humans allows for traversing these different states and to be present in different states at once. For example, a person could be here and very present in a different state at the same time.
All of this is what is supposed to be spiritual/higher development where an individual can consciously interact with the subatomic Universe while being present here on earth, totally aware of being present in the two states at once.

So in essence all that we are is this flow, and so to stand at a single point of 'time' and 'space' as an 'observor' and see anything real about properties of 'wave' and 'particle' is not possible.
In reality, these 'parallel universes' are one. It is our sense organs that make the distinction between 'in and out', between 'me and you', when in the reality of the essence, there is no such thing.
Again the mystics reach for this when they say that the world as we know it is 'maya' or 'samsara', i.e. illusion, and the work is to transcend the apparent duality and experience the oneness.
The hindus have this lovely image of 'the stream-enterer', the spiritual adept who can enter the flow and still remain in a physical body.
Then my question is, if we are, in reality this flow and dance of subatomic particles, then what accounts for matter, which has weight and density? What IS matter? Why does essence congeal into matter? For matter must be of this same essence as well. Right?

I remember now TS Eliot's Four Quartets:
"At the still point of the turning world. Neither flesh nor fleshless;
Neither from nor towards;at the still point, there the dance is,
But neither arrest nor movement. And do not call if fixity,
Where past and future are gathered. Neither movement from nor towards,
Neither ascent nor decline. Except for the point, the still point.
There would be no dance, and there is only the dance."

So from a spiritual viewpoint, our consciousness have the possibility to access parallel universes right? According to Sigmund Freud our unconsciousness is a sort of parallel psychological universe where our consciousness activities have access. This duality/complementarity of our consciousness/unconsciousness is akin to the mechanism of all the subatomic participles that travel like waves but arrive as particle.
The double-slit experiment suggests that light can be both a wave and a particle at the same time, like our conscious simultaneously varies form fully alert to insubstantial unconsciousness. Meditation, hypnosis, trance or dreams allow our consciousness to travel to the unconsciousness parallel universe where our soul can discover the big Universe, an eternal view of life no?

Energy and matter are two sides of the same coin, according to Einstein. Energy creates matter by chunk production. For illustration high-energy photons can suddenly *pop* into articles and their antiparticles to produce the electromagnetic spectrum as long as no conservation laws are violated. . Einstein consider if matter has energy, then energy also has mass. Thus all physical bodies in the Universe reflect their energy content.
The famous formula of matter/energy equivalence is E=mc2. The speed of light squared ties energy and matter together!
