The rain is pouring heavily as if to no end.She saunters toward the door with bated breath.She loves the rain. The sound of the raindrops on the rooftop,the indistinct feeling that swells in her that seems to only be present when the earth is blessed with showers from above. She proceeds to open the door, still anxious. Her hand gently  grasps the doorknob and with a soft twist the door swings open. The unforgiving wind rushes in to find her body. It circles around her as the rain beckons her outside. It is cold, freezing. The ground is  moist under her feet. The freshly cut lawn warms and comforts her bare feet.
 ................with arms outstretched she averts her gaze to the heavens. Drops of love fall onto her face and glides in a stream of movement to her neck, down her body. The rain covers her as if to shelter her. She takes it all in. A hint of nostalgia gleaming in her eyes. She could not remember when last she let the rain bathe her......
