"many things were born in the dark bellies of the slave ships, but rasta was not one of them."

Hmmmmm...........true, true. So true.

RAs Teferi came forth on the First Morning of Time when the Neters came into their existence and after that many things were born in the dark bellies of the slave ships but before that many things were also born of the Neters after the A-robbic incursion. 625 A.D. I remember well. My womb is still open and hurting from the misery of both traumas.

In the dark bellies of the slave ships descendants of slavery and victims of white supremacy were born. In the bellies of the dark slave ships, our memories were forgotten and we began to remember how to hate each other and ourselves because survival had no room for the energy of Love. But somewhere along the road to more than just surviving some of us woke up and became enlightened. We remembered our Root, we remembered beyond the dark bellies of the slave ships where RAs Teferi could never have been born and it was good in the sight of the Neters because it was the anchor we needed after such inhumanity.

It was good not to remember anything born in the bellies of those dark slave ships because in order for us to be whole we had to go beyond that and we had to remember when we were Gods and Goddesses with the Ivine energy of Peace, Love and Inity. With the Ivine energy of Ausar and Maat and Aset.

When we remembered we became new Nefertems and we emerged being the new Gods and Goddesses of a wholistic thinking and living. We became the purveyors of truth, purpose and balance. We remembered our original initiation by the grip of the Lion's Paw and we stayed steadfast in our Ivinity. We came into the Light of RAs Teferi and the perfect example that shone all the way from the Mountain of the Moons and we did good, one, two, hearts beating as one. We became once again upstanding Gods and Goddesses. We continued to reject the constructs of a European worldview that injected itself into Rastafarianism and we stayed RAs Teferi.

Now WE are still able to keep the story of our ancestors in place because we still remember the days by the Nile when we were Gods and Goddesses without the sickness that was born in the dark bellies of those slave ships. We raised our young Neters to Remember The Time, the First Morning of Time when we ruled the heavens and the earth with the energy of the All, the Neteru in all of I'n'I.

Once more when you see RAs Teferi, you are looking at the much needed remembrance that takes us through transformation into the NUBIAN state of mind, one that could not have been born in the dark bellies of the slave ship. Hetep and dua.
